Dear Regan Gibbons,  
Thank you for your emails of 9 May 2024 in which you request the fol owing under 
the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA): 
all advice, meeting notes and communications (emails, text messages, 
Whatsapp, Teams messages) regarding the meeting you held with 
representatives of the Federation of Islamic Associations of New Zealand. 
all advice, meeting notes and communications (emails, text messages, 
Whatsapp, Teams messages) regarding the meeting you held with 
representatives of the NZ Jewish Council. 
This letter is to advise that we wil  need to extend the time limit for responding to 
you by 20 working days, to 8 July 2024. This is because consultations necessary 
to make a decision on your request are such that a proper response cannot 
reasonably be made within the original time frame (section 15A(1)(b) of the OIA 
refers). 
However, if this process is completed before 8 July 2024, the response wil  be sent 
to you as soon as possible. 
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this
