I refer to your request for information dated 11 May 2024 to Wellington City Council, this request
for information on ‘particulates’ was partially transferred to Greater Wellington Regional
Council (Greater Wellington) on 27 May 2024 – see below:
“Please provide all your data and surveys on particulates in the WCC region including shipping
and airport traffic.”

• We do not have any data or surveys of particulates from airport traffic. This part of your
request is therefore refused under section 17(g) of the Local Government Official
Information and Meeting Act 1987 (the Act) on the basis that the information is not held by
Greater Wellington and we have no grounds for believing that the information is either –
