Q1. Number of Straight to Residence Visa green list in queue waiting to assign for case officer
by submission month as of 1 May 2024.
Q2. I noted your website said "Processing time 80% within 4 months”
What is your oldest Straight to Residence Visa green list stil in processing within the system.
What is the lodgment date for this oldest one.
Q3. How many Straight to Residence Visa green list you currently have on hand as of 1 May
2024.
Q4. How many Straight to Residence Visa green list you currently have on hand (not yet
allocate to a case officer) as of 1 May 2024.
Q5. How many case officer you have dedicate to process the Straight to Residence Visa green
list applications.
Our Response
Please note that due to technical issues, we are unable to provide data as at 1 May 2024, which you
requested for questions 1, 3 and 4. Instead, we are providing data as at 2 May 2024 for those
questions.
Q1 and Q4. Please note that we have combined questions 1 and 4 as the information requested is
same. See the table below for the number of Straight to Residence visa applications submitted on or
before 2 May 2024 that were in the queue to be assigned to a case officer on 2 May 2024, broken
down by submission month.

Q2. As at 4 June, the oldest Straight to Residence visa application currently in progress was accepted
on 16 September 2022.
Q3. As at 2 May 2024, there were 937 total Straight to Residence visa applications on hand.
Q5. As at 4 June 2024, Immigration New Zealand has 21 immigration officers processing Straight to
Residence visa applications.
