IT
GENERAL UPDATE: • A potential issue has been identified in the
MIKE system that may affect the
Special Votes Declaration
(SVD) for GE2023. After setting up the Port Waikato By-Election (PWBE) record for the Overseas
Application there are now 2 records, and SVD batches for GE2023 would be incorrectly assigned to PWBE.
Catalyst have made a change which is currently being tested and if successful an emergency MIKE change
will be required to address this to facilitate SVD checking in MIKE which will begin early next week.

Severe Weather Outlook
A low in the north Tasman Sea is expected to move south
eastwards past the north eastern North Island late Friday and
Saturday, with an associated rain band affecting the northern
North Island. A ridge of high pressure will predominate over
central and southern New Zealand from Friday to Monday.
There is low confidence that rainfall amounts associated with
the rain band could reach warning criteria about Northland on
Friday and Saturday morning, and about Auckland, Great
Barrier Island, Coromandel Peninsula and northern parts of
western Bay of Plenty on Saturday.
