Camping Ground Licences – Last 3 Years
Thank you for your correspondence dated 29 May 2024 in relation to Camping Ground
Licences – Last 3 Years.
Please find the CODC response to the information request below:
1. Could you kindly provide a list of all camping grounds which Council has issued a
camping ground licence in the past 3 years in accordance with the Camping Ground
Regulations 1985. Please include relevant addresses for each camping ground and
identify if any camping grounds are operated by Council or subject to a lease with
Council.
Please see below a list of all camping grounds with licenses issued in the past 3 years, with
their addresses and the status of their operation. The red highlighted campgrounds have
ceased operating.
 Alexandra holiday park. 44-60 Manuherikia Road. Licence issued 29/08/23. Leased.
 Bannockburn Recreational Reserve. Domain road, Bannockburn. Licence issued
23/08/23. Leased.
 Cairnmuir Motor Camp Limited. 219 Cairnmuir Road, Bannockburn. Licence issued
07/08/23. Not council owned or operated.
 Clyde Holiday Park. Whitby Street, Clyde. Licence issued 07/08/23. Leased.
 Naseby Holiday Park. 8 Swimming Dam Road, Naseby. Licence issued 28/09/23.
Leased.
 Omakau Recreation Reserve. Alton Street, Omakau. Ceased Operating. Licence
Issued 23/08/23. Council owned and operated.
