Official  Information  Act  request  relating  to  Attempt  to  ask  question  of  the  Chinese 
Premier 
 
Thank you for your Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) request received on 19 June 2024. 
You requested: 
 
“I  request  all  official  information  held  about  the  attempt  by  a  Stuff  reporter  to  ask  a 
question of the Chinese Premier.” 
 
I  note  that  you  have  submitted  the  same  request  to  multiple  agencies.  Accordingly,  this 
response is only in relation to information held by the Department of the Prime Minister and 
Cabinet (DPMC). For information held by the other agencies you submitted your request to, I 
refer you to their responses. 
 
I am refusing to respond to your request as DPMC does not hold any information in scope of 
your request. This decision has been made under section 18(e) of the Act. 
 
You  have  the  right  to  ask  the  Ombudsman  to  investigate  and  review  my  decision  under 
section 28(3) of the Act. 
 
We  do  not  intend  to  publish  this  response  on  the  Department  of  the  Prime  Minister  and 
Cabinet’s website.
