Information request – 222-234 Nevay Road, Miramar 
 
Thank you for your request made under the Local Government Of icial Information and Meetings 
Act 1987 (the Act), received  by Wellington City Council  on  10 July 2024.    You requested the 
following about the land situated at 222-234 Nevay Road, Miramar: 
 
1.  Is the occupancy of this land and road reserve known to the council. 
2.  Is anything being done to manage this use of land and road reserve. 
3.  Does the council endorse this use of land and road reserve. 
4.  Is there any further information or communication retained relating to this land or road 
reserve. 
 
We have formally transferred questions 1, 2 and 4 of your request to Land Information New 
Zealand (LINZ), as the information requested in these questions is believed to be more closely 
connected with its functions than with those of Wellington City Council.  In these circumstances, 
we are required under section 12 of the Act to transfer your request to LINZ.  LINZ will respond to 
you directly. 
 
Wellington City Council wil  respond to question 3 of your information request.  You will receive our 
response at the earliest opportunity and no later than 7 August 2024. 
 
Right of review 
If you are not satisfied with the Council’s response, you may request the Of ice of the Ombudsman 
to investigate the Council’s decision. Further information is available on the Ombudsman website, 
www.ombudsman.parliament.nz.
