Thank you for your email on 23 July 2024 to the Ministry of Health asking for the following under
the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act). On 25 July 2024, your request was transferred to Health
New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora (Health NZ):
“Please provide an organisational chart outlining the management structure of Health NZ. I
am happy if this is outlined by position if you wish to keep the names of staff confidential”.
Response
I apologise for the delay in providing our response. The time taken is not what we aspire to. This is
something we are working to get on top of as we deal with a high volume of requests and the
understandably high public interest in our work.
In response to your request, an organisational chart that covers the entirety of Health New
Zealand’s structure does not exist. However, information on the Executive Leadership Team is
publicly available at
https://www.tewhatuora.govt.nz/corporate-information/about-us/our-leadership-
and-structure/our-executive-team/. In addition, we can provide the attached, anonymised structure
that was provided to media that shows the levels of management.
