Thank  you  for  your  email  dated  Friday  29  May  2015  requesting,  under  the  Official 
Information Act 1982 (Act): 
 
Is it possible for you to provide me with the most recent suicide statistics please? 
 
I am  transferring your request to the Ministry  of Health under section 14 of the Act as they 
hold more recent statistics on suicide than Statistics NZ.  
 
I  have  advised  the  Ministry  of  Health  that  Statistics  NZ  has  transferred  your  request.    The 
Ministry of Health will respond to your request under the provisions of the Act.  
 
You have the right, by way of complaint to the Office of the Ombudsman under section 28(3) 
of the Act, to seek an investigation and review of this response to your request.
