We refer to your email dated 5 August 2024 requesting information under the Official 
Information Act 1982 (the  Act).  The answers to your specific questions are set out 
below.  
Request 1: TVNZ currently streams the popular show, The Casketeers on its TVNZ+ site. 
Under the OIA please provide all communications if any, from or between TVNZ and 
Annabel e Lee-Mather, Great Southern Television, or anyone else in regards to an 
employee of Tipene Funeral Services allegedly swindling grieving clients and putting 
their dead relatives in plastic rubbish bags instead of the coffins they had paid - as 
reported by media. This should include but not be limited to all texts, emails, phone 
calls, and meeting minutes. 
Request 2: Please provide copies of any advice, strategy or crisis management 
information if any, TVNZ has been a party to including all internal and external 
communications regarding this issue.  
Responses 1 & 2: Documents responsive to both of these requests are attached.  
Please note that section 28 of the Act sets out the circumstances in which you may 
make a complaint to the Ombudsman in order to seek an investigation and review of 
this decision.
