any letters, emails, Txt messages, WhatsApp messages, Signal messages, Viber messages,
calendar appointments, and handwritten/typed notes/recordings of phone
conversations/meetings between:
1. Cr Diane Calvert and Minister Simeon Brown (and/or his staff)
2. Cr Tony Randle and Minister Simeon Brown (and/or his staff)
3. Cr Diane Calvert and the Chief Ombudsman/Ombudsman’s Office
4. Cr Diane Calvert and Dean Knight
5. Cr Tony Randle and Dean Knight
6. Cr Diane Calvert and Mark Crofskey
7. Cr Tony Randle and Mark Crofskey
for the period between 1 May and 30 June 2024.
Your request has been considered under the Local Government Of icial Information and Meetings Act
1987 (LGOIMA).
The Council has interpreted your request to be for any correspondence that discusses confidential
information protocols and have not been unable to identify any records held by the Council ors that
match the details you provided. For this reason, I am refusing your request pursuant to section 17(e)
of the LGOIMA, as the documents alleged to contain the information does not exist, or despite
reasonable ef orts to locate it, cannot be found.
You have the right, by way of complaint under section 28(1) of the LGOIMA, to request an
investigation and review of the Council’s decision to refuse information by the Ombudsman.
