Please find below a table outlining costs to date and estimated final cost, FY denotes

The pre and trial set up costs encompass all expenses related to the
preparation and implementation of the trial, including a range of essential
activities. These costs cover the pre-evaluation phase and planning and
engineering design work, along with the creation of detailed plans and
drawings. Expenses also include the removal of existing bus lanes, road
marking and signage, installation of mini roundabout together with the painting
of line markings and the installation of new or modified traffic signs. Finally,
setting up the trial involves the installation of temporary infrastructure and
equipment, as well as initial testing and adjustments to ensure the trial operates
smoothly.
Phase 1 involved the initial implementation of key elements from the plan,
including the installation of speed tables at various locations along Links
Avenue, the application of 30km/h speed limit markings and signs, and the
driver speed feedback signs.
Phase 2 encompassed comprehensive design work and the full implementation
of the final design. This phase included extensive community consultation on

the proposals, modifications to the Spur Avenue intersection, and the
installation of pedestrian crossings, lighting, planting, signage, and marking,
bus stop relocations and rationalisation. Upgrades to signage were made to
highlight the operational status of the cul-de-sac, including the addition of
camera equipment.
Some further work may be required to finalise the project, with an estimated
cost between $7,000 and $10,000.
The costs outlined above received 51% NZTA funding contribution.
The costs above exclude the road rehabilitation and maintenance of the road
that was co-ordinated with the work outlined above. This work was required
irrespective due to road pavement failure. The cost of that work was
$3,069,603.
Additionally I would like to know the total cost of installing one of those vehicle
digital speed readers.
The cost was $13,670.37 each including installation.
