I refer to your request for information dated Monday 26 August 2024, which was received by 
Greater Wellington Regional Council (Greater Wellington) on 26 August 2024. 
Greater Wellington considers it necessary to extend the timeframe to advise you of our decision 
on your request, to Monday 30 September 2024. 
This decision is made pursuant to section 14 of the Local Government Official Information and 
Meetings Act 1987 on the basis that consultations within Greater Wellington are necessary to 
make a decision on your request are such that a proper response cannot reasonably be made 
within the original time limit. 
If you have any concerns with the decision(s) referred to in this letter, you have the right to 
request an investigation and review by the Ombudsman under section 27(3) of the Local 
Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987.
