On 27 August 2024, we requested clarification on one of the documents that did not correspond to
the tracking number provided. You confirmed on the same day that you were requesting
HNZ00054065 – Aide Memoire - Disposal of Expired COVID-19 Supplies.

Some information within these documents has been withheld under the following sections of the
Act:
• 9(2)(a), to protect the privacy of natural persons.
• 9(2)(b)(i ), to protect information where the making available of the information would
belikely unreasonably to prejudice the commercial position of the person who supplied
or who is the subject of the information.
Where we have withheld information under section 9 of the Act, we have also considered any
countervailing public interests in the release of this information. We do not believe that the public
interests outweigh the need to withhold, in this instance.
HNZ00038905 Meeting Briefing - Hira Programme Update has been proactively released as part of
a separate OIA request. This is therefore refused under section 18(d) of the Act as this information
is publicly available on our website here:
