Thank you for your email of 11 September 2024 to the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment 
(MBIE) requesting, under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act), the fol owing: 
 
I hereby request a breakdown (by nationality and gender) of successful and unsuccessful visa 
applications lodged under the Accredited Employer Work Visa Scheme. 
 
On 18 September 2024, we sent an email asking you to clarify what time frame you were after that is 
from what date did you require the stats? On the same day you responded clarifying the fol owing: 
 
I am looking for the breakdown over the duration of the AEWV scheme, i.e., from the first 
application processed under that category to the present (or as near thereabouts for which data 
is captured). 
 
 
Our Response 
 
Please find the response to your request in Appendix A attached. Data provided in Appendix A is from 4 July 
2022 to 19 September 2024.  We note that there is no data available for the Accredited Employer Work 
Visa category prior to July 2022, as the category only became available to apply on 4 July 2022.
