Thank you for your email of 19 September 2024.  Your specific request and our response are 
set out below. 
 
I am writing to request any correspondence between the constituent Gael Baldock and 
Mayor Wayne Brown, AT chair Dean Kimpton and CEO Phil Wilson. 
This should include any text messages, facebook messages, emails, teams, or anything else 
considered correspondence. 
 
We are unable to respond to your request according to the following sections of the Local 
Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987: 
Section 7(2)(a) to protect the privacy of natural persons, and  
Section 17(e) the document alleged to contain the information requested does not exist. 
 
Decisions relating to the information that is being released to you were made by Lou-Ann 
Ballantyne, General Manager Governance and Engagement. 
 
Should you believe Auckland Council has not responded appropriately to your request, you 
have the right by way of complaint, under section 27(3) of the LGOIMA, to apply to the 
Ombudsman to seek an investigation and review of the decision.
