Dear Bronwyn King
Official Information Act request: Days worked in various locations
Thank you for your Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) request, received on 24 September
2024. You requested:
“I am requesting information on the number of days a week you have worked in your
Parliamentary or Electoral offices since becoming Prime Minister. Please note in the
response where there are days in the week that you have been travelling.
Please note the same request is being made of Nicola Willis and Chris Bishop.”
I refer to my letter of 2 October 2024 in which I advised you the parts of your request relating
to the Ministers Hon Nicola Willis and Hon Chris Bishop were being transferred to them.
They will respond to you in due course.
Information publicly available
You can access the Prime Minister’s Diary from his Beehive website page here:

The diary provides details of his location, meetings and travelling days.
Accordingly, I have refused your request for the documents listed in the above table under
section 18(d) of the Act – as the information requested is or will soon be publicly available.
Please note when the Prime Minister is in his electorate he is acting in his capacity as a local
Member of Parliament. Members of Parliament are not subject to the Official Information Act.
Section 2 of the Act defines the type of information that is considered official information.
You have the right to ask the Ombudsman to investigate and review my decision under
section 28(3) of the Act.
Yours sincerely
