Official Information Act request: Phone calls made to Stars Flight Limited 
 
Thank you for your Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) request, received on 21 October 
2024. You requested: 
 
“Please provide digital footprints of phone call(s) made to Stars Flight Limited which 
includes date, time, and duration commencing 2 May 2024 to 21 October 2024.” 
 
Information being released 
Please find attached screen shots of the four phone calls made by Star Flight Limited to a 
staff member in the office of the Prime Minister, as requested above.  
 
One additional email trail was also located that was missed from our previous response to 
you (Ref: PMO 146-2024-25), which was an administrative oversight.  
 
Please note some information is withheld from the release documents under the following 
sections of the Act: 
 
•  s9(2)(a), to protect the privacy of individuals 
•  s9(2)(g)(i), to maintain the effective conduct of public affairs through the free and frank 
expression of opinion 
•  s9(2)(k), to prevent disclosure or use for improper gain or advantage.  
 
In making my decision, I have considered the public interest considerations in section 9(1) of 
the Act. No public interest has been identified that would be sufficient to outweigh the 
reasons for withholding that information. 
 
You have the right to ask the Ombudsman to investigate and review my decision under 
section 28(3) of the Act.
