I refer to the Official Information Act (the Act) request dated 7 October 2024 for information relating to
general waitlist information for the hal s. You have specifical y requested:
Can you please advise how many applicants were on the hal s of residence general waitlist on the
following dates;

1107 (first year only). We feel that it’s important to note that applicants often apply to multiple
Universities. Therefore, many of these wil later opt not to require accommodation.

Please note that the number (302) at start of Semester 1 2024 included many applicants who did not contact
