Official information request - Revised Solicitor General Prosecution Guidelines
Our Ref: OIA353/1
1.
We refer to your official information request dated 8 November 2024 for
1 Correspondence relating to the processing of my request for information;
and
2 Clarification of any Crown funding of Inaia Tonu Nei, whether through
Ministry of Justice, the Crown or Crown Entity.
2.
By way of a letter dated 18 November 2024 we informed you that we have
transferred part of your request to the Ministry of Justice under section 14 of the
Official Information Act.
3.
This response is about the remainder of your request, namely “correspondence
relating to the processing of my request for information.”
4.
We refer to our 8 November 2024 response to your previous request, in which we
explained that information related to the Solicitor-General’s role as Law Officer is
not “official information” within the meaning of the Official Information Act 1982.
For that reason, your request for correspondence relating to the processing of
your request is refused.
