Official Information Act request: Wellington City Council 
 
Thank you for your Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) request, received on 16 October 
2024. You requested: 
 
“1. Any communications between you and your office, and any Wellington City Council 
councillor, since September 15, 2024. 
2. Any communications between you and your office, and any other Ministers or 
Ministerial offices regarding Wellington City Council since October 7, 2024.” 
The time frame for responding to your request was extended under section 15A of the Act 
by 14 working days because it necessitated consultations to be undertaken before a 
decision could be made on the request. Fol owing this extension, I am now in a position to 
respond. 
After further discussions and searches of our Information Management Systems nothing 
has been located that is relevant to your request as above. Accordingly, your request is 
refused under section 18(e) of the Act, as the information requested does not exist.  
 
You have the right to ask the Ombudsman to investigate and review my decision under 
section 28(3) of the Act.
