Hi
Off the record, we aren’t going to give this any of our time as we have an LTP amendment to
deliver as well as working through the draft terms of reference for an observer.
The Mayor doesn’t have any comment to add.
Thanks
Nadine

Hi,
There is a story in the Herald claiming that Wellington Mayor Tory Whanau liked
comments on a post she made on her Instagram some of which said "We're with you
Tory! This hit-job is disgraceful".
The Herald has reported that this post and other posts similar have now been unliked
by the mayor.
Can I please get a statement answering the following:
Do these likes reflect that the mayor feels the government installing a crown
observer is a hit job?
If not why did the mayor like these posts?
Why did she subsequently unlike these posts?
Please get back to me as soon as you can.
Kind regards,
