Response to your request for official information
Thank you for your request under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) to the Ministry of
Health – Manatū Hauora (the Ministry) on 25 October 2024. You requested:
“Last year the MOH received OIA requests regarding the qualifications/CV of Matthew
Tukaki. Please provide al internal MOH communications if any, relating to these requests.
This should include but not be limited to emails, texts, meeting notes, etc.”
On 30 October 2024, the Ministry contacted you to clarify the scope of your request; particularly,
to ascertain whether you were interested in communications specifically pertaining to the
requests you have submitted under the following reference numbers:

On 1 November 2024, you confirmed the Ministry’s interpretation of the scope to be accurate.
The Ministry also extended the due date for responding to your request on 28 November 2024,
to allow for necessary consultations to occur on the material for release.

decisions on release. The correspondence captured by your request reflects the procedural
