Please refer to Appendix One which provides our decision on the release of documents within 
scope of your request. The documents able to be released are attached as Appendix Two. 
 
Some information within these documents has been withheld under the following sections of the 
Act: 
  •  9(2)(a) of the Act in order to protect the privacy of natural persons. The need to protect the 
privacy of these individuals outweighs any public interest in this information. 
•  9(2)(f)(iv) of the Act as some information is under active consideration. The release of this 
information is likely to prejudice the ability of government to consider advice and the wider 
public interest of effective government would not be served. 
 
Where we have withheld information under section 9 of the Act, we have also considered any 
countervailing public interests in the release of this information. We do not believe that the public 
interests outweigh the need to withhold, in this instance.
