Subject: Level Crossing Safety Impact Assessment for Scruttons Road Railway Crossing
Hi 9(2)(a) - Privacy
We need to provide a cost to Christchurch City Council to carry out a LCSIA for the Scruttons Road Railway Crossing.
We are carrying out the design for the Heathcote cycleway which runs alongside the rail reserve on the north side (substation side) of the railway line from the Avoca Valley Stream, and under Tunnel Road bridge to Truscotts Road as below. 
The cycleway is likely to increase the number of pedestrians and cyclists which cross the rail line at Scruttons Road where they can access the proposed cycleway.
9(2)(a) - Privacy  from WSP Opus will manage the LCSIA and has the relevant certification.  Could you please provide an indicative cost for KiwiRail personnel to be part of the site visit and process.  This would then form the basis of a 
purchase order from Council.
