Thank you for your email of 7 November 2024 to the Ministry of Business, Innovafion and Employment 
(MBIE) requesfing, under the Official Informafion Act 1982 (the Act), the fol owing informafion: 
 
Air NZ announced the preliminary findings from a study into using woody waste residues and low-
value wood products in New Zealand to produce sustainable aviafion fuel - a form of alternafive 
jet fuel commonly referred to as SAF. Here's the media statement:

prejudice the supply of similar information, or information from the same source, 
and it is in the public interest that such information should continue to be 
supplied. 
 
I do not consider that the withholding of this informafion is outweighed by public interest considerafions 
in making the informafion available.
