Re: Travis Scott Concert at Eden Park
Thank you for your request dated
9 November 2024. The specific details of your request and
our response are below.
I am requesting the fol owing information regarding the Travis Scott Concert at Eden
Park.
1) Any and all sound reports regarding the concert, including any additional sound
information (before, during, after concert)
2) Did Eden Park request Auckland Council not to publish the sound reports findings,
and if so can the email chain be provided, including the emails handing the reports
over to AC.
3) If Eden Park did break sound limits, what sanctions or consequences did EP face,
or if they have not been invoked yet, what will they be, to as much detail as possible.
Please find attached information pertaining to your request for noise monitoring undertaken
for Travis Scott concert held at Eden Park on 30 October 2024.

Approved noise monitoring report dated on 19 November 2024 completed by
Marshall Day Acoustics and reviewed by Council’s acoustic consultant as per
condition 25 of resource consent (LUC60351212).

Consulting advice note from Council’s acoustic consultant dated on 19 November
2024.
•
Emails correspondences between Auckland Council, Eden Park Trust and Marshall
Day Acoustics dated 20 September 2024, and 4-19 November 2024.
In response to your queries with your request, Licensing and Compliance Department can
confirm the below;
•
Aukland Council’s Environmental Monitoring Unit can confirm Eden Park Trust
(consent holder of resource consent LUC6035121) did not request Council not to
release the provided noise monitoring report.
•
If Council identifies any breaches with the resource consent or Auckland Unitary Plan
standards, appropriate enforcement action would be undertaken. For the Travis Scott
concert held on 30 October 2024, no breach with the resource consent or Unitary
Plan was identified. The noise monitoring report dated on 19 November 2024 was
reviewed by Council’s acoustic consultant.
Decisions relating to the information that is being released to you were made by
Sian
Farrell, Acting Environmental Monitoring Manager, Licensing and Compliance
Department.
