Thank you for your email of 13 November 2024 to Te Kaunihera o Pōneke | Wel ington City Council 
(the Council) requesting the fol owing information: 
 
1.  I request any advice from the council communications team, legal team or external advisors 
to her worship the Mayor and/or any council ors regarding interview requests, interview 
preparation or media responses from the Platform and/or Sean Plunket. 
 
2.  Additionally, I request al  internal communications (email, text, signal messages, WhatsApp 
messages, meeting notes, summaries of phone cal s) that mention “the Platform” “Platform” 
“Sean Plunket” since 1 January 2024. 
 
Your request has been considered under the Local Government Of icial Information and Meetings Act 
1987 (LGOIMA).  
 
The Council has carried out a forensic ICT search to identify any correspondence that meets the 
scope of your request and have been unable to identify any records held by the Council that match 
the details you have provided. As such, I am refusing your request pursuant to section 17(e) of the 
LGOIMA, as the document alleged to contain the information does exist or, despite reasonable efforts 
to locate it, cannot be found.  
 
You have the right, by way of complaint under section 28(1) of the LGOIMA, to request an 
investigation and review of the Council’s decision to refuse information by the Ombudsman.
