Official Information Act 1982 request for information on the Workday Implementation at Callaghan
Innovation
Thank you for your email of 16 November 2024 requesting, under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act),
the following information:
Please provide information on the full cost of the implementation of Workday, the ongoing running costs
of Workday per annum, and Finance Team staff count pre and post the Workday project including
contractors.
Please also provide any business cases, proposals, RFPs, tenders, post implementation reviews, or
other similar documents which form the justification of investment into Workday rather than
dynamics business central/NZ based HR platforms
The Act requires that we advise you of our decision on your request no later than 20 working days after the
day we received your request.
Unfortunately, it will not be possible to meet that time limit, therefore we are writing to notify you of an
extension of the time to make our decision. This extension is necessary because Callaghan Innovation must
undertake consultations with impacted third parties.
In addition, the time period for reply is impacted by the Christmas/Summer holidays. A three-week period
that doesn’t count as ‘working days’. This period is 25 December 2024 to 15 January 2025, inclusive.
In the case of your request, a proper response cannot reasonably be made within the original time limit, and
we are extending the time frame by 20 working days to accommodate the required consultation and Summer
holiday period.
You can expect a response on or before 3 February 2025.
