Thank you for your email of 22 November 2024, to Fire and Emergency New Zealand requesting
the following information under the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA):

I request a list of all incidents where Level 2 line rescue capabilities were
requested/deployed, from 1 January 2020 to the present. For each incident, please include
the incident number and the responding brigade.
I am aware that this information was likely compiled by the NHQ GIS Teams as part of the
recent analysis, and I would appreciate your assistance in providing this data.
If any part of my request requires clarification, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Additionally, if this information has been compiled within the calendar year, but not
maintained since then, I wil happily take the latest version available.
We can advise that the information referred to was compiled in November 2023, and detailed all
line rescue incidents from the previous ten years, broken down by capability, region, and station.

Appendix One to this response, a complete summary of this dataset. This
is the latest version.

Appendix Two to this response, a list of all incidents, pul ed from the
same dataset, where level 2 or 2a line rescue capabilities were deployed from 1 April 2013 to
11 November 2023, including the incident number and the responding brigade.
