Our Ref: PSCR 2024-0130 I refer to your official information request received on 28 November 2024 where you asked
questions about Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission’s (the Commission) processing of
your official information request dated 30 October 2024 (PSCR 2024-0010). For ease of reference, I
have listed your questions and our responses directly below.
1. The date on which the request was allocated to an official to begin collating the
information within the scope of the request;
Your request was al ocated to an advisor on 30 October 2024. Information within scope of your
request was sought from teams within the Commission on 5 November 2024.
2. The date on which collation of the information within the scope of the request was
completed;
The Commission identified al information within scope of your request on 20 November 2024.
3. The date on which the Commission identified it needed to consult people before making a
decision on the Council's request;
The Commission identified on 22 November 2024 that external consultation with other agencies
was required.
4. The names and job titles of the people the Commission is consulting with on the Council's
request;
5. The date on which the Commission asked the consultees for their views;
6. The date by which consultees were asked to provide their views to the Commission;
The Commission consulted with officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT), the
Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) and the Office of the Minister for the Public Service. The
names and job titles of the individuals the Commission consulted with from these departments
and the dates consultation requests were sent and due are listed in the table below.

Information within scope of your request was under active consideration until 22 November 2024.
Time was then required to prepare the documents for release and consult with appropriate
agencies and the Minister’s office before a decision could be made on it’s release.
