I  refer  to  your  official  information  request  dated  30  November  2024  for  Latest  on  housing 
developments. 
 
In response to the following questions: 
1./ Has council been approached by iwi, or any parties to build houses on council owned land in the 
district.  To date Council has not been approached.  
2./ Has council had any further discussions or considerations for housing on Council owned land in 
the district.  To date there have been no further discussions or considerations.  
3./ What is the current state of Teitei Drive as a possible housing location.   To date there are no 
current proposals.  
4./ What is the intended use for Teitei Drive, please provide any form of communications, documents 
or drafts.  To date there have been no reports, discussions or workshops on the intended use for 
Teitei Drive. 
Council  have  decided  to  refuse  your  request  under  section  17(e)  of  the  LGOIMA  Act  -  that  the 
document alleged to contain the information requested does not exist.  
 
You  have  the  right  to  seek  an  investigation  and  review  by  the  Ombudsman  of  this  decision.
