Re: Auckland Zoo Manual and Plans 
 
 
I refer to your email, which we received on 16 July 2015, requesting the Operation Manual, 
Development Plan and 10- Year Plan for Auckland Zoo. 
 
As noted in our email to you dated 22 July 2015, the documents you requested do not exist.  
As we have not received clarification around the specific information you are looking for your 
request is being refused under section 17(e) of the Act (the document alleged to contain the 
information requested does not exist). 
 
The below links may provide you with some of the information you are looking for.  The 
Regional Facilities Auckland (RFA) Statement of Intent and annual report include information 
about the Zoo.  The monthly RFA Board meetings also include an open section that gives 
highlights of the month’s activities for each business unit, including the Zoo.
