I refer to your information request dated 11 December 2024 made under the O icial
Information Act 1982 (the Act):
I request the following for the class commencing in 2025 for Graduate General entry for both
Medicine and Dentsitry.
1. The number applicants for both.
2. Number of interviews given out for Dentistry 3. Lowest weighted GPA to receive an interview 4.
Median weighted GPA to receive an interview 5. Number of first round o ers given out for both 6.
Lowest weighted GPA to receive first round o ers (on 13/12/24) for both 7. Number of waitlist
spots given out for both (on 13/12/24) 8. Logistically, how it works for those taking PXSS papers
regarding whether they are considered first round, waitlist, or neither.
Our response to your requests follows.
Unfortunately it is not possible at this time to provide the detailed information you seek about
applications, waitlists and o ers for entry for graduate students via the general category to the
medical degree programme (MB ChB) or dentistry programme (BDS) in 2025.
Admissions processes for these programmes are still ongoing and are not expected to be
finalised until the end of February 2025. We therefore decline your request under section 18(g)
of the Act, as the information requested is not held at this time. However, once admissions
processes have concluded, the University has in the past provided information of the type
sought in your request, including minimum academic scores for programme entry, usually
available in the first quarter of each year. We would be happy to consider a new request from
you when the application process is completed if you still wish to receive this information.
