Thank you for your email of 30 December 2024 to Te Kaunihera o Pōneke | Wellington City Council (the
Council), requesting the following information:

1)  The original application by the applicant, The Lakehouse Restaurant Limited and / or their
proprietors, Mr and Mrs Kelly relating to the Urban on Manners restaurant the business seems to be
trading as.

2)  Objections that the application or renewal/s received.

3)  The determination and / or decision that the council or it's district committee made - none of these
seem to be available or accessible via the usual nzlii search

4)  The council process documentation that outlines what checks and / or assessments the council
currently does to verify the business registration, ownership and the responsible managers relating
to the associated licensed premises (given the past trouble was about false information given by the
applicant in the past relating to this point)

5)  Any documentation of the ongoing checks or reporting that have been done on the premises or the
management.

Your request is being considered under the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987
(LGOIMA).

This letter is to advise you that the Council needs to extend the due date of your response for 10 working
days, pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the LGOIMA, as the request is for a large quantity of official information
or necessitates a search through a large quantity of information and meeting the original time limit would
unreasonably interfere with the operations of the local authority, and section 14(1)(b) of the LGOIMA, as
consultations necessary to make a decision on the request are such that a proper response to the request
cannot reasonably be made within the original time limit.

For this reason, you can expect a response from the Council no later than 25 February 2025

You have the right, by way of complaint under section 27(3) of the LGOIMA, to request an investigation and
review of WCC’s decision to extend by the Ombudsman. Information about how to make a complaint is
available at www.ombudsman.parliament.nz or freephone 0800 802 602.

If you require further information, please contact [email address].
