We refer to your email dated 15 January 2025 requesting information under the 
Official Information Act 1982 (the Act).  
 
Request: Under the OIA I kindly request the fol owing. 
 
A one-line description of al  interviews conducted and aired from TVNZ's chief 
correspondent, John Campbell in 2024.  
 
I acknowledge some of this is trackable online, however for complete accuracy an 
OIA is required. 
 
Response: We confirm that this information is publicly available: a search for the words 
“John Campbell” on 1News.co.nz will return all of Mr Campbell’s broadcast interviews 
for 2024. This request is therefore declined on the basis of section 18(d) of the Act, 
the information is publicly available.  
 
We trust this information assists. If you are dissatisfied with this response, section 28 
of the Act sets out the circumstances in which you may make a complaint to the 
Ombudsman in order to seek an investigation and review.
