I refer to your Official Information Act (the Act) request dated 16 January 2025 regarding UC Engineering Top 
Achievers Scholarship Credits. You have specifical y requested: 
•  I request the fol owing: 
 
•  Number of applicants for UC Engineering Top Achievers Scholarship in 2024, 2023, 2022. 
 
•  Number of recipients for UC Engineering Top Achievers Scholarship in 2024, 2023, 2022. 
 
•  Range of excellence credits at NCEA Level 2 and 3 of recipients for UC Engineering Top Achievers 
Scholarship in 2024, 2023, 2022. For example, this could be presented as: 
 
•  2024 Lower 
NCEA Level 2 
NCEA Level 3 
 
•  2024 Higher 
NCEA Level 2 
NCEA Level 3 
 
Please see the requested information attached. Please note that some applicants never undertook NCEA but 
studied University of Cambridge International Education (CIE) or International Baccalaureate (IB) qualifications. 
Only those recipients with NCEA results have been considered in these figures.  
The number offered wil  include those offered in the initial offering and then reserves offered as a result of 
declines/lapses in original offers. The number of recipients is those who accepted the scholarship and then 
enrol ed in Engineering at UC.  Please also note that the application for this scholarship is made in August of 
Year 13, therefore many applicants have none or few NCEA Level 3 results.
