formally notify her she is no longer a Minister 
 
Thank you for your Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) request, received on 5 February 
2025. You requested: 
 
“What documents has Melissa Lee received to formally notify her she is not longer  
minister, would she get a formal letter to remove her from the office, if so, please 
provide copies of documents related to removing her from the office.” 
 
There were no documents received by Hon Melissa Lee in scope of your request. I am 
therefore declining your request under section 18(e) of the Act on the basis the information 
does not exist.  
 
You have the right to ask the Ombudsman to investigate and review my decision under 
section 28(3) of the Act.
