Thank you for your Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) request of 28 January 2025. You 
requested: 
Can you please confirm any agencies contacted with respect to the homeless 
people involved in Operation Trolley (people with trolleys confiscated or who 
were arrested or trespassed). Just a basic list of agencies is fine - nothing 
specific. I am just seeking to understand if any help was sought or referral 
made for these people 
The individuals that Police spoke with were given advice about partner agencies and 
referrals.  The referral agencies that Police offered were Manaaki Ora, Mental Health 
Support and Moving Mountains NA.  The individuals were also offered AWHI referrals. 
A number of people police spoke with indicated that they are currently working with 
agencies.
