Thank you for your request dated 28 January 2025 under the Official Information Act 1982
(the Act). You requested:
Is the Comirnaty (JN.1) vaccine being purchased under an Advance Purchase
Agreement (APA) as earlier versions were?
If it is not please advise what date the last Covid vaccine purchase was made under
an APA and of which presentation of the vaccine ie XBB etc
At this time, COVID19 vaccines are procured in New Zealand under the Advance Purchase
Agreements that were transferred to Pharmac by the Ministry of Health on 1 July 2023. You
