Thank you for your email of 18 February 2025 to Te Kaunihera o Pōneke | Wellington City Council
(the Council) requesting the fol owing information:

Could you please supply the latest seismic assessment report for the block of flats located at
16 Glenmore Street, Thorndon known as Te Whare Ahuru.
Your request has been considered under the Local Government Of icial Information and Meetings Act
1987 (LGOIMA).
Jenni Tipler - Manager Resilient Buildings, confirmed that she spoke with you on Tuesday, 25
February 2025, to clarify what specific information you were requesting.
Please find attached, as
Appendix 01, further information regarding the processing of DSA reports
and a copy of the WHAA Detailed Seismic Assessment completed by Robert Bird Group on behalf of
the Council.
Some information has been withheld from the report pursuant to section 7(2)(a) of the LGOIMA, to
protect the privacy of natural persons. As per section 7(1) of the LGOIMA, I do not consider that in the
circumstances of this response, the withholding of this information is outweighed by the other
considerations which render it desirable to in the public interest to make the information available.
You have the right, by way of complaint under section 28(1) of the LGOIMA, to request an
investigation and review of the Council’s decision to withhold information by the Ombudsman.
