Official Information Act request relating to workplace bullying and/or sexual 
harassment at the Waitangi Tribunal since 2016 
 
Thank you for your Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) request received on 26 February 
2025. You requested: 
 
“I have received a communication from the Ministry of Justice stating that my request 
for information relating to workplace bullying and/or sexual harassment at the Waitangi 
Tribunal since 2016. I do not want my request transferred. I have made separate 
requests for information to the Ministry of Justice. My request is for information held by 
the Department for the Prime Minister and Cabinet.” 
 
We have searched our records and have not been able to locate any information relating to 
workplace bullying and/or sexual harassment at the Waitangi Tribunal since 2016. 
Accordingly, I am refusing your request under section 18(e) of the Act because the requested 
information does not exist or, despite reasonable efforts to locate it, cannot be found. 
 
You have the right to ask the Ombudsman to investigate and review my decision under 
section 28(3) of the Act. 
 
We do not intend to publish this response on the Department of the Prime Minister and 
Cabinet’s website.
