INFORMATION REQUEST
On 18 March 2025 you asked for information about the proposal for a regional deal for the
Western Bay of Plenty. Here is our response to your questions:
1.  May I please be provided with the proposal for a regional deal for Western Bay
of Plenty region that I believe has been submitted to DIA?
The proposal for a regional deal for the Western Bay of Plenty region can be found

This request and the response have been considered under the LGOIMA1. Information has
been withheld as follows:
Section 7(2)(i) to enable any local authority holding the information to carry on, without
prejudice or disadvantage, negotiations (including commercial and industrial negotiations)
Section 7(2)(b) to protect information where the making available of the information—
(ii)
would be likely unreasonably to prejudice the commercial position of the person
who supplied or who is the subject of the information
