Minister to visit Glacier Rifle Company, we’re in the process of planning for the visit.
To assist with this, please find attached the event information form to be completed and
returned.
Between 11am – 3pm is currently available for the visit on the 25th of February given
flights.

It was a pleasure having the Minister and you visit our facility yesterday. We
sincerely appreciated Minister Nicole taking the time out of her busy schedule
to gain an insight into what small businesses in NZ can achieve when passion
and innovation drive manufacturing excellence. We have always marvelled
how in NZ we have had a minister for horse racing but no minister of
manufacturing.
I believe that while Chinese Warships posture off ours and our ANZAC
partner, Australia’s coast lines and conversation could also be had with
Minister Judith Collin’s around sovereign manufacturing opportunities of
world class products such as our GRC-300 extreme long range weapon and
our Australian partners battlefield proven (Ukraine) reconnaissance and
search and rescue Drone technology.
Once again thank you, and if any conversations can be started between
Minister Nicole and her Cabinet partners to further NZ sovereign
manufacturing, we would be happy to add depth to the conversations, both in
Wellington or in our facility here in Hamilton.

Thank you on behalf of the Minister and I for showing us around your facilities
yesterday. It was a great visit, and we got some valuable insight into the realities of
manufacturing in New Zealand. It has also given us some ideas for where sensible
legislative changes could be made to provide relief for those in the firearms industry
such as yourselves.
