Official information request for Stat391 test papers 
 
I refer to your request for information under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) 
dated 20 March 2025: 
 
“I am writing to request a copy of the Test 1 paper for the STAT 391 course from 
the years 2023 to 2024” 
 
The information you have requested is withheld in accordance with s9(2)(k) of the Act in 
order to prevent the disclosure or use of official information for improper gain or 
advantage given similarities between the 2023 and 2024 test papers, and the anticipated 
content of the 2025 test paper. 
 
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of the 
decisions made regarding this request. Information about how to make a complaint is
