Thank you for your email of 24 March 2025 to Te Kaunihera o Pōneke | Wellington City Council (the 
Council) requesting the following information: 
 
•  During March 2025 you had a counter operating on the new cycleway on both sides of Onepu 
Road outside PaknSave (the kind of counter that is two wires laid across the carriageway). 
 
Please provide the number of trips recorded by the counter on the cycleway on each side of 
the road, for each hour of each day during the period that the counter was in operation. 
 
Your request has been considered under the Local Government Of icial Information and Meetings Act 
1987 (LGOIMA).  
 
Attached to this letter, please find the requested data. Please note the following abbreviations: 
 
•  ‘Sb’ refers to southbound traffic heading towards the coast. 
•  ‘Nb’ refers to northbound traffic heading towards the CBD.
