Request made under the Official Information Act 1982
Thank you for your email of 24 March 2025 requesting a list of all unpublished titles for briefings
provided to Ministers since December 2024 under the Official Information Act (the Act).
With respect to briefing titles for the months December 2024, January 2025 and February 2025, these
have recently been published online in response to another request for information under the Act.
You can find these briefing titles on the NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) website at:
www.nzta.govt.nz/about-us/official-information-act/official-information-act-responses/. Please refer to
the April 2025 tab and look for the title ‘
Briefing titles December 2024 – February 2025’.
As this information is publicly available, this part of your request is refused under section 18(d) of the
Act.
Please note that of the briefing titles already published, there are a further two briefings in December
2024 and one in January 2025 where the title has been withheld under section 9(2)(f)(iv) of the Act.
This section al ows for the withholding of information to maintain the constitutional conventions for the
time being which protect the confidentiality of advice tendered by Ministers of the Crown and officials.
Following finalisation and announcement of decisions, we are now able to release two of the briefing
titles previously withheld. These are provided in the table below:
