I refer to your Official Information Act request received by CEO office on 15 October 2015 in 
which you specifically requested the following: 
In  response  to  the  information  released  by  the  Ministry  of  Health  detailing  that  SRS 
provider  selection  will  be  determined  by  District  Health  Boards  and  their

held  by  this  DHB  on  prospective  Male-to-Female  sexual  reassignment  surgery 
providers.  My  request  is  for  information  including  but  not  limited  to  correspondence 
with  prospective  providers,  assessments  of  providers  or  correspondence  with  other 
DHBs or specialists. 
Southern District Health Board does not hold any information on prospective male-to-female 
sexual  reassignment  surgery  providers  and  does  not  perform  male-to-female  sexual 
reassignment surgery.
