Thank  you  for  your  enquiry  of    14  March  2016,  which  we  received  on  15  March  2016, 
requesting information about parking wardens. 
Auckland Transport has 163 full time equivalent staff for compliance services. 
The starting salary of a Parking Warden at Auckland Transport is $40,380 per annum. There 
are also allowances paid over and above the base salary that are role and region specific. 
The base salary is above the minimum wage.  
The  annual  operational  costs  attributed  to  supporting  the  core  enforcement  team  is 
budgeted at $14.473M per annum.
