Definitions:  
 
  Successful: applicant has applied for citizenship by grant or a registration of their citizenship by 
descent  status,  the  application  was  approved  (and  the  applicant  attended  a  ceremony  where 
required) and file is now closed.  
 
  Unsuccessful:  applicant  declined  citizenship,  or  applicant  approved  a  grant  of  citizenship  and 
lapsed before attending a ceremony, or the applicant had no claim to citizenship by descent and 
file is now closed.
